Selong Sembalun Hill Tourism

One such attraction is Selong Hill in Sembalun Lawang Village, East Lombok Regency. Selong Hill is a popular tourist destination offering views of Mount Rinjani without the hassle of climbing.
Location and route
Selong Hill is located in Sembalung Lawang Village, East Lombok Regency. The drive from Mataram to Selong Hill takes approximately 2-3 hours.
From Mataram Trippers, visitors can take the Mataram-Senggigi-Tanjung-Bayan-Sembalun route. Alternatively, you can take a different route eastward via Jl. Raya Mataram-Sikur, Jl. Segara Anakan, or Jl. Wisata Gunung Rinjani.
Travelers needn’t worry, as upon arriving at the main road in Sembalun Lawang, there will be signs pointing to Selong Hill. There are two stops available.
To reach the top of the hill, visitors can climb the stairs, which takes approximately 2-5 minutes. If the views aren’t enough, they can climb another set of stairs for approximately 10-15 minutes to reach the top of Selong Hill.

However, to fully enjoy the magnificent and beautiful views, it is recommended that visitors visit in the morning, afternoon, or evening when the weather is still clear.
